ABOUT US
SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES - WHAT TO EXPECT:
"Let all things be done properly and in an orderly manner." 1 Cor 14:40
*We meet on the first day of the week (Sunday), Acts 20:7, as the first Century Christians did. We strive to follow their example
*We pray. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. Prayer is our way of communicating with our Lord. Prayer allows us to bring our praises, our confessions, our thanks, our concerns and our needs before God. The men leading the prayers will say what they wish rather than reading from a prayer book or reciting a prescribed prayer of some kind.
*We sing. A cappella congregational singing. Ephesians 5:19-20. Colossians 3:16
*We participate in the Lord’s Supper or Communion: 1 Corinthians 11:23-29. As the early church did, we also do every Sunday. This is a spiritual reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice on behalf of all mankind.
*We give. Our members give free-will offerings, as they are prospered, every Sunday to support the work of the church. Guests are not expected to give unless they wish to.
*We hear God’s word proclaimed. Romans 10:17
Fellowship is a big part of our worship. Acts 2:42, Hebrews 10:25. As God’s family we are interested in the lives, interests, needs, goals, and the future of our Christian family.
We welcome visitors and are prepared to help you find the answers to your spiritual questions. Please join us in worship and praise of the living God each and every Sunday.
